How we find your best club match
To successfully hand build your unique set of SWINGFIT golf clubs we need to establish 6 crucial specifications. Golf clubs that will without doubt get the best from your swing.
After an initial consultation we are in a position to help you decide on your best club match.- CLUB HEAD SPEED the most important consideration to determine shaft flex and driving club loft. Rule of thumb – the faster your club head speed the stiffer your shaft should be combined with a lower loft on your driver.
- SWING SPEED or swing tempo and should not be confused with club head speed, determines your best shaft weight. Rule of thumb – the faster your swing tempo the heavier your shafts should be.
- LOFT not a major consideration for your irons but with your woods and in particular your driver the most important specification.
- LIE not a major consideration with your woods but paramount with your irons. Rule of thumb - irons which are too flat, your ball will have a tendency to fly right, irons which are too upright your ball will have a tendency to fly left.
- LENGTH combines with the LIE of your irons to fit you. The crucial measurement is the distance your hands are from the ground when standing upright. Tall golfers do not always require longer clubs in the same way that shorter clubs are not a pre requisite for shorter golfers.
- GRIP size should fit your hand size which determines your ability to release the club. Rule of thumb - if your grips are too thick you will find it difficult to square the club face. Grip material is largely a personal preference.
Club head style and shape should be influenced by your ability and swing.
By determining the above specifications we can build your very own set of SWINGFIT golf clubs, hand built for you and you only. Built to compliment your swings individual characteristics, which expensive OFF THE SHELF made for all golf clubs cannot.
