Swingfit Computer Assisted Swing Analysis Computer assisted swing analysis with instant video playback an essential tool to help you understand your swing and implement any necessary swing corrections.
A Typical Lesson
After a short warm up, you will be required to hit shots to a target or practice green with a Wedge, 6 iron and your driving club. During this process your swing will be filmed by two cameras simultaneously, the cameras are precisely positioned to facilitate analysis during the lesson.
You will then be asked a series of questions about your swing and golfing history so that a clear appreciation about your own understanding of your swing can be obtained.
Often during this discussion period it becomes clear that many of the golfers problems are actually “self inflicted” by a misunderstanding or exaggeration of a particular move or position, which is usually a result of a friend’s recommendation
Your swing is then broken down and analysed in a clear and easy to understand way so that realistic swing changes can be introduced and worked on. This is often done with the aid of drills and training aids, designed to help you incorporate any new moves and more importantly eradicate old and destructive habits.
During the lesson you are encouraged to ask questions so that it is clear that you understand exactly the problems and reasons for suggested changes.
We realise that many golfers with their own particular swing style honed over many years will never be able to swing in an orthodox way without countless hours of constructive practice. With this in mind we may have no alternative but to work with the players existing swing so that a return to form can be achieved.
